Assessing the State of Child-Friendly Justice System in Botswana research report launch

Ministry of Justice in partnership with Stepping Stones International launches the research findings of Assessing the State of the Child-Friendly Justice System in Botswana research. The first of its kind, the research was led by SSI in partnership with the University of Botswana, funded by the European Union and The Stephanie LaCroix foundation. The research supports governments commitment towards reforming its Child justice system.
Speaking during the event, the permanent secretary for ministry of Justice Ms. Naledi Stella Moroka said the launch of the roadmap marks a turning point where the government of Botswana and her partners commit themselves to a transformative vision of justice – a vision that is inclusive, responsive, and rooted in the principles of fairness and equity.
