Stepping Stones International's first program is being implemented
in Mochudi, Kgatleng District, Botswana. We provide an after school
program for 12-18+ year olds with outreach to the families and the
community. The program was designed with input from community members,
Ministry of Local Government, Ministry of Education and the District
Multi-sectoral AIDS Committee. In addition, Stepping Stones International
conducted a literature review in the region and a needs assessment,
interviewing caregivers and youth in the district, which influenced
the program design.
Our Mission:
To empower youth to become leaders of the next generation by nurturing
